Members' Exhibitions

The Members’ Exhibitions are a real celebration of the talent and creativity within the Society. They offer a chance for members to share their photography with fellow members and with the wider public, and they’re always a highlight of our year. We run two exhibitions annually, each offering something a little different.

Our spring exhibition takes place in the EPS premises and showcases an exciting mix of prints, digital images and audio-visual work. Members can submit entries across several categories, and a range of awards recognise outstanding work. You’ll find full details of the awards in our member’s handbook.

In November, we present an exhibition in the Edinburgh Art and Design Library on George IV Bridge. This public gallery is open to everyone, and the exhibition attracts a steady flow of visitors from across the city and beyond. Members can submit up to four prints for display, and the show is always well received by library visitors and those discovering EPS for the first time. It’s a great opportunity to see the breadth of work our members produce and to enjoy photography in a relaxed, welcoming space.
